Sallie Bodie, Associate

Sallie Bodie has conducted interviews for Livingston Associates since 2005. She lives in Seattle, WA where she is managing Director for BirdNote, a public radio program with 1.2 million daily listeners. She started her career in public service media in 1990 as manager of NPR's outreach department. Since moving to the West Coast, she has consulted for clients that have included Sound Partners for Community Health, McNeil/Lehrer's By the People Initiative, and the PBS Health Initiative.

In her free time, she enjoys producing short radio features on topics such as tango dancing, the art of making croissants, and Great Blue Herons. Prior to NPR, Bodie held positions with the Corcoran Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Office of Folklife Programs. She has a BFA in Fine Arts and a Masters in Human Relations.
